Artist, designer and illustrator, Robert Bevis creates art works typically in gouache, (an opaque water color), pencil on paper, acrylic on canvas or mixed mediums. Working in various styles from the contemporary and the abstract to impressionism and photo-realism with subjects that are diverse and divergent, ranging from historic automobiles, landscapes and cats to his joyful dancing crows.
Showings and awards have been in both Honolulu, Maui and the Seattle areas including the Beverly Hills Concours d' Elegance, the Kirkland Concours d' Elegance near Seattle, the Seattle International Auto Show, the NW Annual at the Seattle Art Museum, the Henry Gallery at the University of Washington, the Bellevue Arts & Crafts fair and numerous other venues. Awards have come from, amongst others, the Hawaii Watercolor Society, Hawaii Art Assoc, and Bellevue Arts & Crafts fair.
Design skills are excelent and cover a wide range of disciplines and experience, from graphic and print design, to 3D, web, automotive, architectural and marine design disciplines, as well as being knowledgable in the crafts.
